Privacy Policy

This site is run by a single artist, and the only personal data it handles is what you choose to send through the contact form. This page explains who is responsible for it, what happens to it and how you can get it back or have it deleted.

Who is responsible for your data

What data is collected, and why

Only what you type into the contact form: first and last name, email address, phone number if you give one, the date and city or venue of your celebration, the services you are interested in, the number of people, whether you are a wedding planner, and your message.

Along with the message, the date, the time and the IP address of the submission are recorded, as proof that consent was given, which the GDPR requires me to be able to demonstrate. Nothing else about your visit is logged.

It is used for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry, check availability and prepare a quote for you. It is not used to send marketing, and it is not added to any mailing list.

Legal basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (Article 6.1.a GDPR), and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the email address above, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

How long it is kept

If the enquiry does not lead to a booking, your message is kept for up to one year and then deleted. If you do book, the data is kept for as long as the booking is live and afterwards for the periods Spanish commercial and tax law requires for invoicing records.

Who else sees it

Your data is not sold and not shared with anyone for their own purposes. Two providers handle it on the way to the inbox:

• The web hosting provider, whose servers are located in the European Union (OVH SAS, France).
• Google Ireland Limited, because enquiries are received in a Gmail mailbox. This may involve data being processed in the United States under the safeguards Google declares for those transfers (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and loads no third party scripts, trackers or analytics. Fonts and images are served from this site’s own server, not from an external network. There is nothing to accept, and nothing following you between pages.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it in a portable format. Write to gipsyhennabcn@gmail.com and say what you want done. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).

The images on this site show work carried out at weddings and events. If you appear in one of them and would rather not, write to the address above and it will be taken down.
